The Annual Hidden Essence Fashion Show

The Vision
Symiah Saulsberry got the vision to coordinate her own fashion show during her freshman year at SCAD. As a dedicated fashion student, gaining a spot in the senior show at SCAD is a significant achievement. Though when she found out that everyone is not chosen, she knew she had make a change. It was during this pivotal moment that Symiah began creating a platform to give aspiring creatives the chance to exhibit their work at the early stages of their design careers. For her shows she stays away from themes as she feels that this puts creatives in a box and doesn't allow them to create what truly speaks to them. The show features aspiring talents in design, modeling, set design, videography, photography, sound design, and various assisting roles. The entire production serves as a collective celebration and collaboration of emerging creatives in their perspective fields.
Our Mission
Our mission is to organize fashion shows worldwide, specifically targeting creatives in untapped markets. Hidden Essence is dedicated to supporting creatives, showcasing their work, and helping create meaningful connections within the fashion community.We aspire to create opportunities for these individuals so that, through our efforts, they can thrive in their respective fields and gain valuable industry experience.
